How It Begins
This is how it begins- in the margins—between lunch breaks, laundry cycles, and voice memos whispered into the void. For years, I followed the “reasonable” path and set art aside. But something in me kept insisting, louder each time it was silenced.
You Are Loved (Just the Same) is a poetry collection that looks back on 28 years of life. The masterpieces, the messes, the liminal space in between. This book is what happens when you sit with the rejected parts of yourself long enough to hear what they’ve been trying to say.
This is how it begins.
And I hope, in these pages,
you begin again too.
